sick sick sick

We have all been forced to slow down a bit. These past few days we have gotten aquainted with the German medical care system, and actually we can't complain (of course we haven't gotten any bills yet and our insurance hasn't kicked in yet.)
I (Jackie) have a lousy throat/flu thing am on antibiotics. Grace woke up with a crick in her neck and has been bent over and in terrible pain for two days now. It was kind of scary because she really was in a lot of pain but after one trip to a doctor and another to the emergency room we feel confident now that it is just muscular and hope she will feel better soon. (No more squeezing into Sophie's bed to sleep). Zoe has had sniffles and sneezes on and off for several days but I think she is on the mend.
We hope it will stop there but at last count Sophie and Henner were complaining of symptoms. Hope they can fight it off and get well soon. Probably some more trips to doctors are in our future.
